School is back in session! That means after-school kids are back inside the Aaron Heard Community Center. This August the library and the Aaron Heard Community Center staff have partnered on a Chocolate Factory project. We read a few chapters of Roald Dahl’s ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and led book-related S.T.E.A.M. projects. The after-school kids are engaged in the classic, fantastical story. At the end of the project students will enjoy watching the story retold in movie format and compare it to the book. Which do you think will win…the movie or book? I think it’s safe to say which one the library votes for.
