This program is designed to help local high school students to develop a plan post graduation. There will be resources about applying for FAFSA, support for applying for licenses, scholarships, and more. Students can come and make specific requests for wherever they are in the process!

The fourth annual FanFest on Saturday, April 12th from 10am-6pm. This free event has something for all ages by bringing together live music, performers, a cosplay contest, gaming, vendors, and more!  

Located at the Oconee Civic Center. Fanfest includes workshops, panel discussions, book signings, live music, performers, demos and other activities.

Schedule of Events:

• All Day- 
  • Gaming area with D&D, video games, board games, game creators Mystic Punks, and much more
  • Outdoor games, crafts, and prize wheel provided by the Oconee Library
  • Rashe’s Cuisine & Cafe Racer food truck will be on site
  • Vendors offering a wide variety of merchandise from art to books to records to pop culture paraphernalia

Main Stage Auditorium

• 10:15- Rebecca Sunshine will perform fun and engaging music for kids.
• 11:30- Seussical the Musical -Exploring the stories of Dr. Seuss with this 30 minute musical showcase.
• 1:00- The Barony of Bryn Madoc presents European and Middle Eastern music/dance
• 2:00- Film Screen of “Whistle in the Dark” by local director Connor Pannell followed by Q&A
• 3:00- Trivia
• 4:00- Mini-Fashion show and Panel discussion with Dr. La Ruchala Murphy, Kate Windley, Alexandra Miller, and Tabitha Fielteau.
• 5:00- Cosplay contest with prizes ranging from gift certificates to MomoCon passes.
