Athens Regional Library System branches offer free, secure wifi for patrons with no time limit. Visit athenslibrary.org/services/wifi for more information.
Public Computers
Our libraries are equipped with public use Windows 10 desktop computers. All computers have Internet connectivity, LibreOffice, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access. Computer session times vary by location. No library card is needed for public use computers.
Creative Software
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and other creative software for audio editing and digital creation are available in the Digital Media Center (DMC) at the Athens-Clarke County Library.
Printing
- Black and white printing: $0.10-$0.25/page depending upon library.
- Color printing: $0.75-$1.00/page depending upon library.
- Color printing (photo quality): $4/page in the Digital Media Center (DMC)
Scanning
Scanning is free. Scanners are available at all library branches except Aaron Heard Resource Center and Lavonia-Carnegie Library.
Faxing
Fax machines are available at some ARLS branches. Contact your branch for prices and details.

Children’s Computer Services
AWE Early Literacy Stations
All ARLS branches have AWE computers for children with software for learning activities in math, science, geography, music, reading, and more.
